Sure, there’s a fine line between flattery and validation, but real validation does feel nice, doesn’t it?

My son wanted a blog. I thought it’d be better for him if he learned how to code things out on his own, so he’s starting with basic html and a little CSS, and is using it to showcase his collection of snowflakes and favorite videos. He’s home sick today and wanted me to link to him, so I’m doing it. Have some link love, Ethan! His site is at ethan.novapages.com.

I ran across Astro Viewer when I was trying to google my family’s constellations. Of course it was quite handy in planning our constellations for the star ceiling, but I think it’s pretty cool to play with too, particularly when you use the buttons to “fast forward” and watch how the sky changes.

Political discussions with my family are crazier than professional wrestling matches, minus the chair throwing and spandex. As a self-appointed referee, I can truly appreciate a moderate point of view. That’s why I enjoy reading poligazette.com so much, I decided to donate a little design work. (more…)
