Banana Milk

“What’s for breakfast, Mom?”
“Banana Milk!”
In unison: “Doot dooo de doo do!”

Because that’s how we roll :-D They love this recipe, and it’s breakfast, fast, so I thought I’d share: if you ever have bananas that are just past the point of an enjoyable snack, just throw them in a blender with some milk — we do one banana per 8oz of milk for a 12oz serving. Add a few drops of vanilla extract if you’d like :-)

Ok, now I’m dying for a giant glass of banana milk!

Do you ever add extra sugar to it? Mmm…sugar!

Oh – no sugar in this one. Bananas are ridiculously sweet. In fact I would guess most grown ups might like to put half again as much milk in for each banana so it’s not TOO sweet for their tastes. But I’m not most grownups ;-)

My mom used to make this for me when I was young. She used to add something else too. I think pineapples…
