New Years Resolution

They say one of the best ways to meet goals is to make them public. I have to agree! And I think another way to meet goals is to commit to a few rather than half heartedly wishing to keep a dozen.

So, my one and only official goal for 2004 is this: To stop treating people the way -I- would want to be treated, and to start treating people the way -THEY- would want to be treated, given the constraints of any situation.

OH! And my one other not so official goal (besides the usual loose a dress size thing) is to BE the girl in the short skirt and a loooooonnnnng jacket. Don’t worry, my skirt will be modest. ;)

If you know me you know my job has kept me hopping lately. But I’m enjoying it thoroughly. I feel like I’m making a difference here. The only place I’d rather be (oh, besides maybe an island resort!) is with my kids. I’m thankful for that.

I may be jinxing myself to say so, but I hope to get back into a regular pattern of posting here. Its therapeutic (because then I feel like someone cares about what I think!) and I think its a good personal history as well. This will be one of my goals for the new year.
