For Christmas, I’ve tried and thoroughly enjoyed the same recipe with candy-cane bits instead of reeses pieces. My coworker said White Chocolate Popcorn sounds disgusting, but if you like caramel corn or anything like it, you should give this easy trick a try. (more…)
My mom’s always been creative with her recipes, in a good way! I’m not even that big a fan of coleslaw, nor do I like fish much, and the idea of a southwestern spin to that combo didn’t sound like such a good one. But being the polite daughter I am, I tried some anyway. It was absolutely delicious. To make it, simply combine these ingredients:
1 6oz solid white albacore (drained)
1 med tomato, cut into wedges
1 dill pickle, chopped
Dehydrated onion flakes (1 T or so)
2 slices pepper jack cheese, chunked
1 bag carrot & cabbage cole slaw
Mayo, to taste
Mesquite seasoning, to taste
I’ve had a few requests, so here’s the scoop on this simple treat.
