Back to the Drawing Board!

Tuesday, August 24th, 2004

Not that the drawing board is a bad thing. I no longer have a full time job so I’m turning my focus to back to freelancing and doing some tech support and training services from home. As a result, this site is slated for a few changes, but I’ll keep a personal side and even add an area just for friends and family. It’ll be fun. In the meantime if you hear of someone needing some design work, you’ll know who to recommend. :)

Moving to “Mostly Personal”

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2004

I started out this site with the idea that it’d be a personable but still geared toward web design. But freelancing in itself is a full time job, as is being a mom of two babies. So when I started working for another company full time 8-5 (or even 7-7 sometimes), my freelancing has had to take a backburner.

So what does this mean for you? I can still handle the small projects and plan to continue handling them to keep up my skills until I can go back to freelancing full time.

If I am CURRENTLY working with you on a large project, don’t worry, you’re already in my schedule. If you’ve got a larger scale project, let me know what aspect of my work you like best. I’ll do what I can to accommodate, and if you’re willing, I’ll refer the rest of the project to one of my capable and trusted peers.

And if you’re just one of those people who reads my site for the heck of it because you like or can identify with my off-beat ways and silly articles (I LOVE YOU!), you can expect more random articles and mini-projects. “NovaPages” is my creative outlet. :-)

Ooops..

If any of you have tried writing me a letter using my form lately, I hope you’ll consider resending. This morning I was looking around the site and decided to check the form. Lo and behold, it didn’t work. After a quick investigation I realized I’d put IP addresses in the form instead of using my web address.

That wouldn’t have been a big deal but my host recently moved servers to another location and I totaly forgot to change the address. So if you’ve tried sending me anything for the past few weeks and did not get a reply, I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience. The form works now. (more…)

All systems go!

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2003

Well, almost. :) I haven’t finished working on this site but I guess that’s the idea with having a dynamic page: it can easily be added to and changed. And now that I CAN easily do that, I will.

Read on for a quick explanation of the links on the left. (more…)
